What is included on a private tour?

We normally do very flexible private tours, you can choose the meeting point (on the city center), the duration and the monuments to visit . The prices on our website are for a 2,5 hours normal private tour. If you have special needs or you just have your own idea write us an email to info@exploramalaga.com. We will be happy to help.

Is there a Free walking tour every day?

There are Malaga Free tours every day at 11:00 except very important dates as New Year´s eve (Dec 25th, January 1st and Jan 6th). Under five people the tour can be cancelled, something that only happens the 3% of the tours a year.

What does it mean that the tour is free?

Free means that you can decide the price of the tour in the end of it. It is not only because is more fair that customers decide the price of the tour according to how much they liked it, it gives us motivation to work hard and do our best every day!

Where is the meeting point for regular free walking tours?

The meeting point (11am)  is always in Plaza de la Constitucion, you will find us with a blue umbrella. Few minutes on foot from Larios Street. You can find a map on the tour description.

How will I find the guide in the meeting point?

There is always one of us waiting for the group in Plaza de la Constitución near the Fountain wearing our blue Umbrella “Free Tour Guide”. We recommend you to come 5 minutes earlier.

What monuments will we see during the walking tours?

During our walking tours we are passing by all the most important monuments in the old town and we are providing very important and interesting information about them. Unfortunately we are not entering to any of them because of lack of time and because of extra ticket costs. However in the end of the tours you will have all the necessary information about what to see so you will be able to visit all you want on your own.

How long does the Free walking tour lasts?

The tour lasts around  2 hours and 30 minutes.

In which languages are your tours available?

Our Free tours are always in english and spanish. However we do private tours in some other languages. If you want your tour to be guided in other language please contact us,  info@exploramalaga.com, we will do our best.

Do I have to make a reservation for walking tour?

We recommend you to make a reservation for regular tours for us to know how big the group will be. In case you want to do a private walking tour, segway tour or tapas tour you have to make a reservation on our website http://www.exploramalaga.com/toursandactivities/

Terms & Conditions for the FREE TOURS

FREE TOURS are intended for the enjoyment of individual travelers. The tours are operated on a tips-only basis, and there is no upfront cost to access the tour. Whilst it is not necessary for individual travelers to prebook their place, we strongly advise doing so. This fee covers the booking alone, and is not payment for the tour, which is provided by your tour guide. Individuals presenting themselves at the start point are not subject to any charge and places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Prebooking gives you priority onto the tour over guests with no reservation in the rare case a tour is oversubscribed and saves you from waiting in line upon presenting yourself before the tour to a Meeting Point Manager. However, we do require that you do so no later than 10 minutes before the start of the tour, after which point we reserve the right to allocate your place to somebody else. This is in the interests of fairness to all those wishing to participate on the tour, as well as to ensure their punctual start.If at the start point only four people or less show up for the tour, something quite unusual, the tour may be cancelled and the customers are going to be invited to join any other tour. The guide anyways will give advices about where to go, what to do and will answer all the tourists´ questions. Groups (ten or more persons traveling together) Groups of ten or more persons wishing to take the FREE TOUR are subject to a per-person fee. Our FREE TOURs are intended for small groups and individuals. Groups of ten or more persons should therefore book for the appropriate number of people online when clicking Book Now on our FREE TOURs page, or contact us to schedule a private tour which is the only way to guarantee your group will travel together with a private guide. Terms & Conditions for the PAID TOURS

Your ticket and booking confirmation will be sent to you automatically by email upon successful completion of your order. If you do not receive this mail for any reason, you are asked to contact us as it may mean that your order has not been successfully processed. Please check your junk or spam folder first. You should print your ticket or be ready to show it on your smart phone or tablet, and present it alongside valid photo ID before the start of your tour. If you do not have access to a smart phone or printer, please contact our staff as soon as possible. Bookings for those who turn up without a valid printed ticket, we are not always able to do so and therefore make no guarantees. In this case and if you are not able to prove that you make the reservation you may be required to pay again. Your tour ticket includes your guide(s), and may include transportation costs where specifically indicated. Food, beverages, incidentals, bathrooms, and anything else not specifically included in the tour price is not included.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

OUR FAULT. We work very hard to ensure that all tours run as scheduled and enjoy a 99% success rate. When a tour cancels, and it is the fault of Explora Málaga SL or one of the guides we work with, we will refund your prebought ticket as well as offer up to 100% of the value of the original ticket price as credit towards the purchase of another tour as compensation. This credit cannot be used in any other way and will not be cashable.

YOUR REQUEST. Should you not be able to attend your tour and need to cancel a tour booking letting us know at least: 1 month before your tour, we will refund you 95% of the purchase price. 48 hours before your tour, we will refund you 50% of the purchase price.

ACTS OF GOD. We may not be held responsible should we be unable to offer a tour due to Acts of God, (tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic dust clouds, extreme weather, etc.).

CRUISES PASSENGERS. If the ship doesn´t arrive to Málaga on the date of the tour due to weather or navigation problems, we will change your tour to the day the cruise finally arrives if we have availability, if not we will refund the money of the tour.

PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY Participation in a Explora Málaga SL tour is strictly voluntary and both your freelance guide and Explora Málaga SL reserve the right to deny participation to anybody for any reason at any time. As in all human endeavours, there is a level of risk. We do our best to keep the risk to a minimum. Explora Málaga SL, its contractors, parent and subsidiary companies, partners and employees assume no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, damage or inconvenience sustained by any person using its services, nor to their property.
